20th September 2023 – The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) wishes to update the public regarding the upcoming renovation of the Administration Building at Port Purcell. Renovation work has commenced, and this project will be overseen by Connect Enterprises Limited with an estimated completion date of December 2023.
The renovation project will encompass the following key aspects:
- Structural Enhancements: The renovation work will include structural improvements to ensure the long-term stability and safety of the building.
- Aesthetic Refurbishment: The building's appearance will be upgraded to provide a more modern and welcoming atmosphere.
- Technological Upgrades: Up-to-date technology will be integrated to enhance administrative processes and efficiency.
As part of the renovation process, we would like to inform the public that the cashier services will be temporarily relocated. During the renovation period, cashiers will be available in the blue container on the left as you enter the port. This temporary setup will ensure that customers can continue to access cashier services conveniently.
