The BVI Ports Authority (BVIPA) is excited to kick off its Ambassador of The Year Competition as part of the 35th Anniversary Celebrations. This initiative aims to highlight the daily operations of the BVIPA, showcase our talented team, and strengthen public awareness of our mission and vision.

Three outstanding candidates have stepped forward to compete for the title of BVIPA Ambassador:

• Kenneth Maduro
• Shinka Mercer
• Reba Evans

The competition began with our formal wear presentation in December and will continue with engaging segments, including an introduction video, creative wear showcase, and a poem or essay reflecting the rich history and future aspirations of the BVIPA. The journey culminates on 25 April 2026, when we announce the winner who will proudly represent BVIPA as our spokesperson during the anniversary celebrations.
